Hazmat shipping has more steps than a normal parcel. Here's exactly what happens after you order — and when you'll hear from us.

Order request received
You get a reference number right away. No payment is taken online — our team contacts you, typically within one business day, to confirm availability, freight to your address, and payment (plus an installation quote if you asked for one).

Certification check
We verify the EPA Section 608/609 details you provided with your order and retain the record as federal regulations require. If anything needs clarifying, we reach out the same day — your order isn't delayed silently.

Packed for hazmat ground
Cylinders ship factory-sealed in DOT-compliant packaging with hazmat documentation, typically within 1–2 business days.

In transit
Ground service only (compressed gas can't fly), typically 2–5 business days. Your tracking number is emailed the moment the shipment leaves the warehouse.

Delivery
An adult signature is required — make sure someone is on site to sign. Inspect the package on arrival and report any damage within 48 hours.
